Bekonscot Model Village   
An unforgettable experience for everyone - this unique piece of heritage is just waiting to be explored. Depicting rural England in the 1930’s, time has stood still in a wonderland of miniature nostalgic make-believe.


Brush Hill Nature Reserve   
This local nature reserve was opened in 1997 and covers a stretch of the Chiltern hills running above the Upper Icknield Way, and crossed by the Ridgeway, national trails.


Buckinghamshire County Museum   
Buckinghamshire County Museum is housed in beautifully restored buildings, some dating from the 15th Century, The museum showcases the counties rich cultural, historical and natural heritage alongside a changing programme of exhibitions in the art gallery.


Buckinghamshire Railway Centre   
Take a trip back to the golden age of rail travel with a ride behind a vintage steam locomotive at this working steam railway museum. Over 30 locomotives and carriages and wagons set in and around a 150 year old station – now an award winning visitor centre.


Bucks Goat Centre   
Goatsand other animals galore, with pigs snakes, lizards and many more. Tractor rides are available (weather permitting) and there is a full size trampolene and bouncy castle, along with a picnic area and café. There are also bags of food so you can feel the animals..


Cowper and Newton Museum   
The home and 18th Century gardens of William Cowper, poet, translator of Homer, letter-writer and gardener. Displays memorabilia of Cowper and John Newton, evangelical curate of Olney, former sea-trader and world-famous author of “Amazing Grace”. Also greatly assisted William Wilberforce to abolish slavery.


Gulliver’s Land Theme Park   
A theme park particularly suitable for families with children aged two to thirteen years. Nestled in a park setting with ample free parking, it’s small enough to get round comfortably with little ones but has plenty to do and see.


Holy Trinity Church   
This attractive flint and limestone Norman church is set within the quiet picturesque village of Bledlow in the Chilterns. The oldest parts of the church are 12th Century with later substantial building over the next 200 years.


Home of Rest for Horses   
These picturesque and well-managed stables house Britain’s oldest equine charity. The Home of Rest for Horses was founded in 1886 as a retirement home for working horses, ponies and donkeys.


Lacey Green Windmill   
This windmill is in the Buckinghamshire village of Lacey Green, on the brow of the hill, just off the Princes Risborough Road. Dating from 1650, it is thought to be the oldest smock mill in Britain. The name comes from the resemblance to a farmer’s smock.
