Alvaston Hall Hotel
This beautifully restored, half-timbered Victorian hall in the heart of the lovely Cheshire countryside, always promises a warm welcome. There’s plenty to keep you busy at Alvaston; it even has its own EGU standard 9-hole golf course.

Boughton Badminton Club
All levels of players are welcome... those who just enjoy the game and those who want to play in one of our three teams. We play on Monday evenings.

Millennium Festival Trail
The Chester Millennium Festival Trail is a route through the city centre that passes 40 of the most important buildings in terms of architectural development. It was laid down in 2000 and local people selected all the buildings.

River Dee
The River Dee runs through Chester and provides an excellent backdrop for picnics. Rowing boats, motor boats and pedalos can be hired by the hour to allow visitors to explore the river for themselves. Cruises are also offered on larger boats.

The Sandstone Trail
The Sandstone Trail follows the sandstone ridge from Frodsham to Whitchurch. The whole route is just over 30 miles long but can be walked as three separate sections. The trail is marked with finger posts and waymark discs and allows walkers to enjoy each town along the way.

Walnut Tree Farm Quads
Walnut Tree Farm, Barthomley, Cheshire, offers the largest adult course in the north west. We offer excellent facilities for all parties, whether a special occassion - such as a birthday party - or a corporate event.
