Adventures   
Adventures offers instruction and guided leadership for all ages and abilities. Andy Brown is a qualified Mountaineering Instructor (MIC) and Teacher with an Adventurous Activities License for under 18’s, based in the Lake District. There is walking, scrambling, rock climbing, navigation training, exploring, camping trips and abseiling.

Alston Moor Golf Club   
The Alston Moor Golf Club in Cumbria is a 10-hole golf course, with fell and parkland overlooking South Tyne Valley and the North Pennines. It is the highest course in England. The club is lady friendly with changing rooms and a bar.

Set in open countryside, the undulating course provides high quality racing every month of the year staging eleven national hunt meetings from September to April and nine flat meetings between April and August.
