Cumbria Gurning   
The online equivalent of the World Gurning Championships, held at Egremont Crab Fair in the Lake District in a tradition dating back to 1266. Competitors pull faces through a horse's collar, the audience applaude, and whoever receives the greatest applause wins.

Grasmere Festival of Stars
