All Saints Church
All Saints Church, a late 19th Century structure, was completed shortly before novelist Agatha Christie’s birth in 1890. Her father, Frederick Miller, made a financial donation to the church thus ensuring his youngest daughter was entered in the church records as a founder member.

Arlington Court
Arlington Court offers a variety of things to explore including the extensive collection of horse-drawn carriages, large grounds, parkland walks and varied gardens including a Victorian garden with conservatory and ornamental pond, lake and bird hide. Visitors can also take advantage of a carriage ride around the grounds.

Armada Way
This broad boulevard is the spine of the city’s shopping district. Walks wind along it through landscaped gardens. Water features like this one take advantage of the slope. Armada Way was the first pedestrian-only shopping avenue in England.

Ashburton Museum
As well as a wonderful assortment of items you might expect, such as local artefacts, town history and historical records, this stannary town museum also features, surprisingly, the internationally known ‘Endacott’ collection of North American Indian treasures.

Babbacombe Model Village
Enter a world of miniature marvels. Visit the English countryside in 1/12th scale including models of famous landmarks. New features include the ‘Babbacombe Junction’ model railway exhibition and ‘Behind the Scenes’, an audio-visual presentation of the history and making of the park.

Barbican Glassworks
Visitors will be thrilled to watch free of charge the traditional skills of glassblowers at work in part of an upmarket glass and gift shop of enormous elegance. Operated by Dartington Crystal Ltd.

Becky Falls Woodland Park
Escape the hurley burley with a visit to this famous woodland park with magnificent walks and waterfalls. Enjoy the wildlife discovery trails, ’Becky’ box hunts, children’s nature competitions, rescued owls and birds of prey, Dartmoor ponies, sheep, lambs, goats and rabbits to feed.

Bygones Victorian Museum
Bygones calls itself a Victorian museum, but how many museums can you name that make you feel as if you have literally stepped back in time? What began as a carefully crafted Victorian street replica in May 1987, complete with authentic looking shops and models, has now grown into a veritable time-warp of displays and set-pieces in which you can actually walk around and get a feel for the age they depict.

Cadhay
Cadhay Housewas built in 1550 retaining the Great Hall of the earlier house. An Elizabethan honey gallery was added to form a unique courtyard with statues of Sovereigns on each side.

Chambercombe Manor
Set in a secluded valley, Chambercombe Manor has much to offer because of it’s colourful history. The house containing eight rooms, dates from the 11th Century and was mentioned in the Doomsday book. A leisurely stroll amongst the beautiful gardens, wooded areas and ponds adds to the enjoyment.
