Holsworthy Museum   
Holsworthy Museum is a small, local museum with themed displays including Holsworthy town, local railway, agriculture, medical and apothecary, local craftsmen and the two World Wars. It also has local archives containing photographs and documents relating to the locality.


Living Coasts   
Living Coasts features a range of fascinating coastal creatures from penguins to fur seals, puffins to sea ducks. There are sandy beaches, rugged cliff-faces and a tranquil estuary.


Lukesland Gardens   
24 acres of flowering wild flowers and rare trees in Dartmoor National Park, 1¼ miles north of Ivybridge. The gardens are set in the beautiful valley of the Addicombe Brook with lakes, numerous waterfalls and pools.


Lundy Island   
Lundy Island lies 11 miles off the north Devon coast, three miles long and half a mile wide, a place of outstanding natural beauty, skies full of birds, pirate haunts and air like wine. In the hubbub of the modern world it is a place apart, peaceful and unspoilt.


Lynmouth Harbour   
Lynmouth Harbour is a small but attractive tidal haven on the Exmoor coast. A distinctive feature is the Rhenish Tower, built in the 1850s by Genera Rawdon to store salt water for the baths in his house.


Lynton and Barnstaple Railway   
The original Lynton and Barnstaple Railway was opened between the two towns in 1898, largely due to the support of the publishing magnate and patron of Lynton, Sir George Newnes,. Sadly the line closed in 1935, killed off by burgeoning road traffic.


National Marine Aquarium
