Abbot House - Dunfermline Heritage Trust
Abbot House, once the administrative headquarters of the first and finest Benedictine abbey in Scotland, is the jewel in Dunfermline’s heritage crown. It has witnessed the intrigues of Church and State and even outlasted much of the great Abbey it once served.

Andrew Carnegie Birthplace Museum
Visit the birthplace of the weavers son who became ‘King-Steel’ in America, the worlds richest man who turned philanthropist. Weaving demonstrations on first Friday of the month from May. The museum is open April to October, Monday to Saturday 11am to 5pm, Sunday 2pm to 5pm..

Angus Folk Museum
Housing one of Scotland’s finest folk collections, this museum presents a vivid insight into how the rural workforce used to live. Six charming 18th century cottages contain the domestic section, and the agricultural collection is in the farm steading opposite, illustrating changes in the Angus countryside over the last 200 years.

Barry Mill
This 19th century meal mill works on a demonstration basis. Records show that a mill has occupied the site since at least 1539. The present building was rebuilt in 1814 following a fire.

Ben Lawers
Ben Lawers is Perthshire’s highest mountain at 1,214m (3,980 ft) with views from the Atlantic to the North Sea. In the Scottish National Trust’s care are 3,374 hectares of the southern slopes of the Lawers range and 1,348 hectares of the Tarmachan range, noted for a rich variety of mountain plants.

Blair Castle
Blair Castle has been home to the Atholl family for more than seven centuries and holds an important place in Scotland’s history. It has been a magnet to visitors for generations. One or two have been turned away with a bucket of boiling oil or a volley of musket fire.

Bolfracks Garden
Bolfracks Garden is just 1½ miles west of Aberfeldy and is open from the 1st April to 31st October everyday from 10am to 6pm. A plantsmans garden with interesting features from early Spring to late Autumn.

Breadalbane Folklore Centre
What makes a visit to the Highlands so special? A unique combination where the history of the clans, the heritage and culture of saints and pilgrims, and traditional folklore are all blended together against a wonderful natural backdrop.

Buchlyvie Pottery Shop
Buchlyvie pottery shop is a working pottery in the beautiful village of Buchlyvie, set between the Trossachs near Loch Lomond and historic Sterling. We hand produce a wide range of porcelain goods including tableware, giftware, lighting and bespoke tile panels.

Church of the Holy Rude
Stirling’s medieval parish church, at the top of the historic old town, is richly atmospheric. Its name refers to the medieval term for the Cross of Christ’s crucifixion and it has seen 600 years of worship and history. The Catholic mass was celebrated here until the Reformation changed Scotland.
