Kinnoull Tower
Near the summit of Kinnoull Hill is Kinnoull Tower, built by the 9th Earl of Kinnoull. Both Kinnoull Tower and nearby Binn Tower were built in the 18th century in imitation of the castles on the Rhine in Germany, as proud landmarks above the Tay, Scotland’s largest river.

Loch Garry
Loch Garry is visible from the A9 between Aviemore and Pitlochry. It is a large expanse of freshwater, close to the border between the Highlands and Central Scotland.

Loch Leven Castle
Loch Leven Castle sits on an island on the western margin of Loch Leven. Interestingly, it is thought that the island was much smaller than its current size, possibly such that the waters of the loch lapped the castle walls.

Montrose Air Station Heritage Centre
Montrose airfield was the first operational airfield in Britain, setup by No. 2 Squadron, RFC in 1913. The centre is situated by the old airfield and hangars and housed in the original headquarters building.

National Wallace Monument
Towering over the River Forth, the National Wallace Monument stands in tribute to Sir William Wallace and his triumph over the English army at the Battle of Stirling Bridge in 1297.

Perth Museum and Art Gallery
One of the oldest museums in Britain, found in the centre of the fair city of Perth. Exhibitions, both permanent and changing are drawn from our fantastic collections of find and applied art, archaeology, photography and human & natural history.

Perth Sculpture Trail
The Perthshire Public Art Trust has created Perth Sculpture Trail, which is responsible for the development of public art in Perth & Kinross.

Pitlochry Dam
Pitlochry Dam was constructed between 1947 and 1951, creating a man-made loch as well as a breeding site for greylag geese. This loch was named Loch Faskally and is approximately 5 kilometres long.

Pitlochry Festival Theatre
Pitlochry Festival Theatre is a theatrical haven offering a unique cultural experience in beautiful countryside on the banks of the River Tummel. It is a long established and well respected theatre company famous for its classic dramas, concerts and more. The Pitlochry Festival Theatre’s season runs from May through to October.
