Queensferry Museum   
Situated in the historic former royal burgh of Queensferry, the museum commands magnificent views of the great bridges spanning the Forth.


Scott Monument   
The Scott Monument opened in August 1846, and in the years since then millions of people have climbed the 200 foot structure to admire it’s commanding views of the city, the exhibition on Scott’s life and the statuettes of characters from his novels..


Scottish Mining Museum

Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art   
Set in beautiful leafy grounds, the Scottish National Museum of Modern Art lies to the west of the city centre in a handsome neo-classical building. The gallery has bright, spacious rooms, and its extensive grounds provide the perfect setting for sculptures by Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth, Anthony Caro and others.


Scottish National Portrait Gallery   
The Scottish National Portrait Gallery is situated in the heart of the New Town on Queen Street. It provides a unique visual history of Scotland, told through portraits of the figures who shaped it: royals and rebels, poets and philosophers, heroes and villains.


St. Giles’ Cathedral   
Discover 1000 years of history in the heart of Edinburgh. Founded in the 1120’s, St. Giles’ was the church of John Knox during the reformation and is renowned for its stained glass Rieger organ and beautiful thistle chapel.


St. Mary’s Parish Church   
St. Mary’s in Haddington is, with St Giles Edinburgh and St. Michael’s Linlithgow, one of the three great medieval churches of the Lothian’s. Services are held each Sunday at 09.30 and 11.00. St.


The Dean Gallery   
Situated across the road from the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, the Dean Gallery houses the Gallery of Modern Art’s extensive collections of Dada and Surrealism. In 1994, Edinburgh-born sculptor Sir Eduardo Paolozzi offered a large body of his work to the National Galleries of Scotland.


The Georgian House   
The Georgian House is part of Robert Adam’s masterpiece of urban design, Charlotte Square. It dates from 1796, when those who could afford it began to escape from the cramped, squalid conditions of Edinburgh’s Old Town to settle in the fashionable New Town.

The National Trust for Scotland own a number of attractions and holiday homes throughout Scotland including castles, stately homes, mountain ranges and vast countryside.
