Hereford and Worcestershire
Hereford and Worcester is a county to the west of central England,
bordering Wales. Hereford, a market city, lies on the River Wye
and has a fabulous Norman cathedral. Worcester is famous for its
fine timber buildings and its porcelain, particularly in Friar Street
and New Street which houses the best examples of such architecture.
Like Hereford, Worcester is dominated by a beautiful cathedral with
an especially fine crypt.
