Shropshire is a West Midland county of England with a population of
almost half a million. Its county town is Shrewsbury. It is an interesting
part of Britain. Telford is a large town in Shropshire, and within
Telford are the towns of Oakengates, Wellington and the world famous
Ironbridge. Telford is a fairly new town, but it has grown up very
quickly in the last 30 years. Telford is well worth a visit if you
like places of interest and the "museum world".
